This is a selection of blades we have saved over the months with cosmetic issues. Scratches, coating issues and the like. There is no issue with the mechanical, structural or steel on these blades.
These blades are sold as is and all sales are final. No Refunds on Blem blades so make sure you are ok with a scratched blade being worth the deep discount.
If you are going to work these blades as designed this is a great value. Every one has a different quality issue but the bottom line is none of these blades passed our final inspection before they went out the door. Some of them you will struggle to find what small detail we did not like about them. Some of them you will notice right away.
These are very limited in quantity. Use the pull down menu for what blades are available and its price. there are no pictures of the issues. These are first come first serve items.

MDV FOLDERS HAVE A ISSUE WITH THE GLASS BREAKER, SOME MAY COME WITH BREAKER AND SOME MAY NOT. IF THEY DO THEY WILL BE LOOSE, YOU MIGHT HAVE SUCCESS WITH LOK TITE. IT WILL BE HIT AND MISS ON THESE. THE END RESULT WILL BE A GREAT KNIFE OR TRAINER FOR A GREAT PRICE.

A great concept and knife. This is perfect being so light to carry at the gym in lightweight sweats. I slide a section of gutted gray 550 cord over the hook and it disappears. And being purple I can claim it is an official Planet Fitness issue. I use another one with velcro mounted to the handle to mount on my sun visor (the side towards the roof) with no need for a sheath. Perfect for seat belt cutting or any other immediate need vehicle emergencies. It is very impressive they have been able to get an aluminum knife so sharp.

I love the Sailor assisted folder. It's large but easy to carry in your pocket. I like that's it's super easy to open. It's reminds me of a large version of the Mini-Jack.

I picked up this Orca on a blem deal. I compared it to my first non-blem Orca purchase and saw no difference cosmetically or mechanically. They both perform equally as well. I was lucky to get such a great deal on both! Get one or two while you still can!

I love everything about the MDV Aluminum Live. It's light, it's sharp and with monkey tape, it's easy to grab and hold firmly. If you get one, get the monkey tape!

Just got my MDV +1 Aluminum. I bought it blemished and I do see a small blemish but you can hardly see it. The knife is amazing! Exactly what I need for EDC. I'm just waiting for my Rhino sheath and I'll be good to go!

Honestly bought this knife for my wife. I thought it would be a good knife for her to carry because if its smaller size. But she fell in love with my sailor assist instead. This is a great little knife. It came super sharp and it's size makes it real handy. It makes a good skinning knife for small game animals. Very happy with the mini jack.

I have purchased a total of 9 of these little gems. The first one was too cool to keep so I gave it to a dear friend. The next 8 were purchased from the blemished sale at a price to good to be real. Again I have given away all but 2 of these cool little nasties. When seated in the car it is exceedingly difficult to draw my Wahoo out of my pocket. My EDC Mini Fixed is ready and available to deploy and open anything and everything I need to while driving or sitting at a desk. The 1,7/8" blade is very thick for the blade length and would qualify as a defense tool if need be. Rapid deployment and hanging there just waiting to be used and cherished. This a great little knife with some smart engineering poured into it. The blem was wonky grind but 5 minutes on a stone cleaned it up fine. Only bit that I don't like is the silly little finger notch on the blade but that's likely more to do with having a hand that would be at home on a orangutan. I intend to file it open to make it efficacious for me. Good Job Skallywag

I really liked this knife, but at some point it fell out of its sheath and it got lost. Would like a little bit more retention on the sheath but other than that, a great knife. Didn't notice the blemishes either.

Not sure on this one yet. I ordered this and the mini jack folder and what I was hoping for in this blade the mini jack provided and what i thought would be the issue with the mini jack is my issues with this knife. Its so small I barely feel it in my hand. Would be great for like 10% more knife, a little weight. That being said it functions well, I havent used it as much as the mini jack but it came sharp and its great for opening boxes, mail, trimming threads from clothes.

This knife is great, I dont notice it in pocket, was sharp out if the box. Small but also enough blade to get work done. It's always hard with small blades to know If they will be good for anything other then being small. This knife is a workhorse. It was blemished but the only issue I had at first was it felt tight when flipping open, like would open all the way, but after an hour of fidgeting at my desk it feels great.

I have bought 2, they work great. It takes some time to figured out the best way to draw them and some practice but well worth it. They are really great knives. Well made, good action and locks up solid. This is a serious knife. Very sharp out of the box. In my mind this is not a knife that you would carry for daily tasks, this is a defense knife and meant to take care of business. ☠️

I have bought 3 so far. 2 aluminum an 1 steel. Great daggers would highly recommend them. The aluminum ones work great for running and biking in shorts. Very light and you forget you have it on. The steel one is deadly sharp and a serious piece of kit. You won’t regret getting one.

I love the MDV! I have the Damascus, two aluminum live blades and a trainer all set up for different roles. I never feel under armed with this blade due to the training and the engineering/feel. This will last a lifetime, and it looks good! I couldn’t find the blemish either

Love this little blade it stays around my neck 24/7. Picture taken next to a lighter for size reference. I love how small it is. If you removed chain fits perfectly into the little coin pocket on your jeans. If I could make any changes would be slightly enlarging finger holes, so when drawn it's already in combat grip. The blade will definitely do the job, hut be aware due to length won't be effective verse thick clothing, aim appropriately. I love all of Skallywag Tactical products there all so unique! Would love to be an ambassador. Put the stickers I received on my 2021 tacoma trd pro, that I have about 75k invested in so far, if that tells you how much I love there products. highly recommend, already told my friends.

Great pen, have received several compliments on it already. Has written every time so far, I'm excited to see the patina the metal takes on with time. Wear it daily next to my backup blade also from Skallywag Tactical. Be good to use in a scenario where less than lethal force is required, or a scenario requiring you to sign something. Love the lightweight knife, I keep in my right pocket next to my skallywag pen, as a backup for my microtech socom, which are backups for my edc. Amazing fit and finish, sheath holds securely. Fits nicely in my pocket tip down with just the curved handle extruding for an easy grab if necessary (hopefully never need to use it). I just recently found out about skallywag, and I plan to do alot more shopping from them! Highly recommended!

Already done a review. The only Blemish I could detect was some of the etching appeared to be sort of faded, not as prominent as the rest of the blade. But you couldn’t see it unless you were looking for it.
Glad I got it and wouldn’t be afraid to buy a Blemished blade again.

Purchased “Blemished” Aculeus at incredible price. Can’t find any irregularity on it. Very sturdy knife with thick blade for harsh use. Changed included metal clip to nylon (my preference). Grip shape works well for saber, or reverse, grip. This is now the “Last magazine” on my plate carrier for high-risk environments. Placed knife next to standard GI AR magazine for size comparison. Great knife!

The pen quickly became a critical item. I use this pen at my job at the fire department. The pen itself is used to take notes and write reports while the glass breaker is in quick access to be employed during extrication operations.
I bought one from the blemishe sale and I have yet to find anything wrong with it. The captain and crew clearly hold the highest level of quality assurance.
