The unique recurve design of the blade features a pronounced cutting belly that maximizes slicing capabilities, making it ideal for tasks that require both precision and power. A recurve edge not only allows for more effective cuts by increasing the length of the edge without increasing the overall length of the knife, but it also facilitates easier slicing through material by allowing the belly to engage during the cut. In addition, the Oni features a spear point dagger grind on the top of the drop point, which significantly reduces weight while reinforcing the tip's strength for piercing tasks. 

Each custom grind on the Oni is expertly completed by Javan Roberts, a seasoned blade smith with extensive experience in creating high-performance knives. Javan's dedication to the craft ensures that each blade is not only functional but also a work of art. 

The Oni also features a layered black and grey G10 handle, meticulously textured for optimal grip and symmetrical design.
