Knife is excellent, sharp, nice blade profile, feels good in the hand. Handle is grippy, works when wet or dry. The sheath needs some work. The spring loaded latch looks good, but it’s awkward to unlock and it doesn’t work for pocket carry, so I removed it and added a ulticlip. The blade binds when it goes back into the sheath, needing two or three attempts to seat properly.

Very nice blade, love the shape the curve is sexy . Nice sheath very secure for scout carry. Would like to see it is a regrind finish to accentuate the tip . Glad I purchased this knife!!!! At this point it’s an obsession with SKALLYWAG !!!!
Blade is fantastic ... what I would expect from Skallywag. Understanding the merits of a bowie back-cut, this blade design is fantastic both blade and spine forwards (hits with point first). Sheath starts off too tight but quickly loosens up with handling. The narrowness of the sheath where the blade edge fits is made to very tight tolerance. It's finicky going back into the sheath. Wants to wedge unless held centered. Hoping this gradually resolves.

I love the knife and will enjoy it for many years. HOWEVER, the sheath is not very user friendly and likely will have to buy a different custom sheath for it. It is disappointing, since it’s a beautiful knife.

Nice knife! Sharp, well made with good balance. Sheath is a little strange. It has what appears to be a safety lock. However, you can still draw the knife with the lock engaged, it’s just slightly more difficult. So, I don’t understand its purpose. Overall, a great bargain!
