Marine Approved !!! It arrived quickly and razor sharp. The blade shape allows for whittling and slicing equally well. But it can also handle heavy cutting around the yard. I'll have to have a couple for Christmas gifts. OUTSTANDING !!!

I usually carry a large folder, so I’m used to the weight and bulk. With that said, the Jolly Roger has pretty thick handles, making it a little bulky as EDC. BUT, it is extremely light for its size and has a great feel while using it. It deploys very nicely and locks up really solid. In my opinion, every belt clip knife should have the option to move the clip to suit the individual. Overall, I do like the JR and will definitely recommend Skallywag to anyone that might be looking for a quality blade.

Solid and sharp- I love this blade! I didn't like the belt/pocket clip at first but I tweaked it a bit, and now it's perfect. I love the heft and solid locking on this folder.

I bought two Jolly Roger Folders. One for me and one for my father-in-law. I have not tried mine out yet, but my father-in-law has already. He took it out on his daily hike and ran it through the gambit. He really liked how it fit in his hand, it is a big knife that fits in a man's hand. It's sharp, well made and will be accompanying him on his daily walks as a EDC! Great job, Skallywag!

First this is a yuge pocket knife. Opens clean and sits in my pocket for cutting open boxes and bags and all the things. Its tough and hasn’t lost the edge.

This is a fairly large hefty knife. I’ve got big hands so it fits me very good. Almost shaving sharp out of the box. For $28 with shipping it’s hard to beat this deal.

This is a great knife for the price. I got it on sale but would have been happy with it had I paid full price. This is the second knife I have purchased from Skallywag and I was very impressed with the speed of shipping and quality of service.

Heck of a knife for the price!

This knife was sharp from out of the box, and held its edge very well. It was great until I left it out in my workshop for a few weeks and the blade started to show rust/corrosion spots on it. I always assumed stainless steel doesn't rust but I guess it does.

I was sort of surprised by the size of it but very impressed with the build quality and function of the knife. My new favorite edc love it!

came relatively sharp very few strokes from my hone steel to get razor edge. Larger than expected but not an issue. Lock is not as secure as I would like. Would not use it for hard cutting due to this issue. Overall a nice knife for light use.

I am not a folder guy, but this is a super heavy duty folder! I am honestly blown away by the quality of this knife and, at the time it was only 25$. I bought a blue and a black one and gave the blue one to a good friend. Thank you Skallywag for making great products and making them affordable. Larry Blair.

I use knives almost every day.I am hard on the knives I use and Skallywag makes great, tough knives that hold up against anything. I really like the ability to open and close the knives I've gotten from Skallywag with just one hand. Great products at great value.

As usual, Skallywag makes a great product. Not sure why this was at such a bargain price but it was hard to pass up and I surely don’t regret it. I volunteer three days a week with our local Sheriff’s Office and carry this on duty. Good size and heft…and a sharp, sharp blade.

I have bought several knives from Skallywag Tactical 2 Mini Jacks, they make great gifts…. 1 Mako my favorite… 1 Wahoo second favorite… But the Jolly Roger folder took me by surprise at first feel I thought what did I waste my money on it’s a bit chunky feeling. Great product and wonderful customer service

Love the product and the customer service. I have a few knives from you guys and some of which are put through hell and stand true. I've only chipped one blade and that's because of my own dumb a$$ using it to remove a nail lol. I won't get my knives from anywhere else at this point From survival gear to my day to day, I carry Skally Wag.

Excellent EDC beefy and a tank!

My first thought with this knife was its huge. It was much larger than I expected. However it is not overly heavy and fits comfortably in the hand. The blad shape is really cool. The flipper action is smooth though the ball detent sticks a bit on closing. This may be by design to keep you from cutting your fingers. Significant cool factor with this knife.

It is a really good knife especially for the price! The textured grip feels good in my hand! The knife is super sharp out of the box. Very impressive. It also looks mean. I will say I am curious as why the clasp is where it is on the knife. With previous carry knives I would always spin the knife between my thumb and forefinger into my hand to then deploy the blade. Now, I am still getting experience on actual tactical knives so may be I am just unfamiliar with how to draw the blade from the pocket with the clasp being where is to secure my knife. I hope this makes sense. Thank you!

Awesome knife! So nice I bought it twice. Feels light like a Griptilian, but grippy and more like a beefier Benchmade Stryker. While having the heft and wicked blade like a Cold Steel knife. I haven't stabbed any 55 gallon barrels or car doors with it, but I have no doubt it would be fine. Also, hair popping sharp out of the box. Absolutely the best value you could ask for in a folder, easily worth several times what I paid for it.

Wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is. Guess I should of read the description. But I love it. Good build quality. Smoth opening and sharp. Good hefty knife for work.

I think the knife is great. Has a solid feel and good balance for me. Quick open is a huge plus and it does not snag from the belt clip, which I have found to be rather annoying on other knives. Blade design is different from the norm, which is especially nice and has good function. Looking forward to see what all it can handle.

I was very impressed. Well built and sharp. I have been recommending Skallywag Tactical to friends and coworkers.

The only suggestion would be to have a deep pocket clip so less can be seen over the top of the pocket .

To be perfectly honest I really figured for $35 and change I was buying a small folder for my range bag. As a Police officer I have carried some form of folder for 30 years with my ZT 0357 as an EDC for the last 10 years. I have been looking at your knives for a couple of months and thought I would give one a try.... To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. One big ass understatement. The blade is stout, visually interesting and razor sharp out of the box!. This knife is much larger than I anticipated which made it a perfect handful. The scales are perfectly notched and the material is substantial. The pocket clip is damn near perfect. I have so many other black knives so I ordered this knife in blue and the color is really works. The blade flipper is the right size and the blade rotation is snot slick with a solid lock up. Steel bolsters give the knife a solid feel and nice weight. Hell even the lanyard hole could'nt be any better. This knife has replaced the ZT as my every day carry and now I have to save up for a boarding axe. My wife is not a fan but Chrstmas isnt that far away. ☠

My new EDC pocket knife! I bought the one with the black handle too, and also bought a blue one for a friend . It just a practical good quality knife but not expensive .

I didn't expect a knife of this qualify for $35.00. I like that is has some weight to it! My only complaint if you want to call it that. All of the other reviews I read raved about the sharpness of the Blade, my results were not as good. A few minutes of work resolved that issue.

First off; Skallywag Tactical is phenomenal. I have ordered several of their blades so far and am saving up to get more. I just got the Jolly Roger because the price is too good. It's now my new new work/beater knife. It is very tough and we'll designed. I would have expected to pay at least twice as much as I did. Absolutely love Skallywag and their products. Fan for life.

Blame came razor sharp! The flipper was soooo smooth. A nice beefy blade. I love everything about this blade.

I saw some nice videos about Skallywag knives and decided to check out the Jolly Roger, which was on sale. Nowhere if in the description was the blade size and from "our little Jolly Roger" I expected something a little smaller. The blade is about 3.7" almost identical specs to the Civivi Praxis I've EDCed for some time with the exception of a much thicker, beefier G-10 handle. It fills the hand well, but it's a tad much in the pocket. The design is well executed with a great finish overall, smooth section, and a well centered blade. The price point, like the specs is about the same as the Praxis. It's a nice enough knife, especially for the sale price, but nothing really makes it stand out from the very crowded market.

It has exactly the right size of a handle. The knife had a great edge then I gave it a polished razor sharp edge and it cuts like a dream. Great product I’ll for sure get more knives from Skallywag. Thank you for your service.

When the price dropped on the Jolly Roger Folders I knew I had to have one. The minute my wife saw it I had to buy her one of her own (or lose mine). Great blade, great quality and on sale at a steal price.

Excellent knife. It's become my EDC. Holds an incredible edge and can handle anything I need it for.

Feels like a much more expensive knife Great fit and finish + ball bearing action make this a real winner. No blade play what so ever when locked up. Even at a non sale price for under 50 dollars you are getting a hell of a lot of knife for your money. Only potential downside is the size in pocket but that translates into more positive control when in use.
