The Salty Fish
Based on customer requests we have released a Salty version of the BadFish a little bigger and designed more toward larger game fish in the Salty Sea..
This is a entry level knife and priced so you can get two of them and have one as a backup.. Not designed to break the bank or make you cry when it goes to Davy Jones Locker.
First person to filet a Tuna and send photos gets a free one.

I got the name of this company from a book I was reading. ( Code Name: Wild Hunt) by D.A. Roberts. I looked the company up and ordered a few pocket knives for my friends, they got to Alaska superfast and were awesome, so I figured I would try it again this time I ordered fillet knives. I live at the mouth of the river that has the worlds largest red Salmon run. I will find out how good these knives are. More to come.

Still early in the season here so I haven’t cleaned a ton of fish yet but, just like every other Skallywag product, the “bang for the buck” ratio is so tilted to the positive it’s a no brainer.

This is the perfect knife for big fish. While I love my filet knife, this one has the backbone, edge, and depth to tackle the larger saltwater gamefish I have in store for it.

I got the salty fish as a free gift after order the kitchen knife set which i am absolutely ecstatic about. However, the salty fish was a little dissapointing. The knife has a nice skallywag stamp on it and the sheath is descent but the box it came in clearly says made in China and someone just took a black marker and marked it out. The blade is a little flemsy and doeant seem like it will hold an edge long. But for a free gift it seems descent. I just expected made in america

This is a fantastic kitchen, knife, or to use around the camp and if you are a saltwater fisherman and catch lots of big fish, you cannot beat this knife it performs fantastic great job and I really appreciate this knife. Respectfully Michael.

I have not yet used the knife, other than to test the edge on paper. The item arrived promptly and well packaged and very sharp.
The knife feels good in the hand, very light 8 inch scimitar blade, the handle is ergonomic and of a good size and shape. The nylon sheath is adequate.
