Innovation That Reinvented the Multi-Tool

Michael O'Donnell created GOAT Tools after more than 25 years of using multi-tools from every major brand and seeing firsthand where they came up short. Drawing on his experience as a U.S. Navy veteran, former private military contractor, and engineer with over 15 years in the field, he developed a multi-tool built around function, adaptability, and real-world performance. The hot-swappable modular system is officially patented by the USPTO, and the platform itself was shaped by direct community input and built to keep evolving with it.

• 2015 - Concept was born for a modular pivot system
• 2017 - GOAT Tools LLC was formed and the Intellectual Property began being filed
• 2019 - Functional prototypes provided proof of concept
• 2021 - Kickstarter campaign raised nearly $200,000 in 30 days
• 2022 - Began shipping multi-tools to backers in late December
• 2023, July - Finished fulfilling all Kickstarter pre-orders
