Aggressively textured handle scales provide a secure, consistent grip in wet, gloved, or high-stress conditions. The integrated retention ring locks the knife into the hand, improving control and reducing the risk of dropping or losing your grip during use.
Each Defense Driver includes a custom DuoTone™ KYDEX® sheath with adjustable retention and multiple friction offsets. This system eliminates blade rattle while maintaining secure, dependable carry and a smooth, consistent draw.

Skallywag does it again! Defense Driver is amazing. The retention ring and grip does a great job keeping this thing controllable and the D2 blade is an ideal size. The Tanto shape really pulls this one together in a complete package that immediately has a place on my go to kit.
Easily one of my top choices edc besides Spydercos! This thing was built like a panzer! Love it!

So the knife is comfortable in the grip but a lil heavy. Its best sheath position is appendix but I hate the clip it comes with. I added regular holster clips and its pretty cool to carry. Im not a fan of "Back fighting" or Short knife, but this company seems to be. That said its kinda off to use as a cutting tool. Well, its not as comfortable to use in a standard grip. I like how this knife is made and has a good feel. Sheath is purty dang cool.

Love this knife , had a like hicup with other part of my order but have been dealing with Gary and I must say it has probably been some of the best customer service I’ve received in a long time!!!! And you can tell folks there are into what they offer and not just selling sku’s off the shelf !!!
Well made, good blade geometry and grind. Kerambit finger ring is set-up well for both point forward/ fencer's grips and reverse grips. Scabbard is well designed with a readily adjustable clip(Philips head retention screws). Good steel. If I was going to ask for any changes or redesign,I would say to keep everything else as it is but perhaps extend the length of the blade from heel to tip another inch. Still as it is its remarkably efficient and utilitarian.

This has joined my EDC line up. I have been carrying a Randall Fireman's Special on my support side for a while. I still love it, but the handle is rather thick. It's not an issue on duty, but it really prints under a jacket or vest. The Defense Driver sits flat against my body. It is comfortable and concealable, characteristics of a good EDC, and I really like it.
Well it took a while to get but it was understandable and well worth it. Heavy duty blade and fits my hands perfectly. Definitely recommend when it’s back in stock, there’s a reason they’re going fast.

An amazing carry/EDC fixed blade. It is heavy and the pull ring works very well. Can't see anything wrong with this one. Amazing knife.
I would prefer if the head of the knife was flipped around so the cutting edge was on the other side. I put my index finger (right hand) through the loop and grip the handle. When you stab and cut you need to push the knife. It would be more useful pulling the knife (stronger muscles)? Maybe when you order you could choose which option.

Fits perfectly in my jean pocket. Easy to grab for any survival instinct. Fits perfectly in my hand for instance protection of my family and friends. Great back up!!!
Early Christmas shopping, I'm sure they are great. I don't plan on taking them out of the box. If the Captian stands behind them they have to be good.
