Nice knife, fit me very well.
I just picked up the Skallywag Tactical Echo Wing, and honestly, I’m really pleased with it; it has immediately become my go-to small fixed-blade for EDC. My overall impression is that it’s compact, lightweight, stable, and highly functional. It measures about 6 inches in total length with a 2.5-inch D2 steel blade, and at just over 2.3 ounces, it’s virtually weightless in the pocket. You can easily slip it into jeans, sweatpants, or even shorts; the low-profile carry is incredibly comfortable and doesn't create an unsightly bulge. The G10 handle offers a superior feel compared to the earlier MDV Plus One, providing a very solid grip. The open finger-hook design is practical—it locks your finger in place securely, ensuring it won't slip even when wearing gloves. The drop-point blade performs cleanly for both push and pull cuts; it’s more than capable of handling daily tasks like opening packages, cutting rope, or dealing with small packaging, and it comes razor-sharp right out of the box. The Echo Wing is very sharp and easy to carry. I enjoy flower arranging, and it's very useful for that. It can also be carried for self-defense.

I love it. The cutting edge is great, and I'm in love with the handle. Seems like every other knife that has individual finger grooves never seems to line up with my fingers, so the fact that this one has a smooth swell in the middle is a huge bonus. This is my new daily carry whether I'm wearing jeans, my gun belt, or shorts out at the grocery store.
Standing on the cliff by the sea, the wind is pretty strong and the waves are crashing against the rocks below. I casually pulled out Echo Wing and held it in my hand — it just feels right. The black blade looks clean and low-key, and the grip sits perfectly in my palm. Looking out at the endless ocean, I suddenly felt super relaxed. No fancy shots planned, just out for a walk with a reliable knife in hand. It’s simple, everyday stuff… but it just feels good.

Love my Echo Wing so much! I carry it with me everywhere, whether it's for my daily commute or outdoor activities. It's absolutely gorgeous, I can't put it down.
This is a great knife and my new everyday carry. I have two of Skallywag’s MDV Plus Ones, along with the MDV folder, and they were my EDC until I bought the Echo Wing — I like the smaller size. I liked it so much that I bought another one under the “one is none, two is one” theory. I used jiujitsu tape to put two small bands on the handles in case it gets wet from rain water (or blood). The handles don’t need as much wrapping as the MDV because of the handle geometry (which I also really like).
A perfect pocket fixed blade. Tactical and Practical
Again excellence coming from skallyway . I had gotten 2 echo wings left one alone haven’t opened it . There other had been in my pocket since the moment I received it. Did a sheath modification, kind of an undercut so I can get 4 fingers and push off into coming out of pocket. Lost no retention still tight but now I got a full grip. Knife is sharp as fuck . Functions like a knife it cuts shit what more can I say . Another outstanding skallywag tool !! Thanks keep making awesome edc gear!!

Outstanding! I have two MDV Plus One blades and the MDV folder but this is my new EDC. I can still use my MDV trainer to get the same feel, despite it having a slightly smaller blade. Usual high quality and fast delivery. My only disappointment was there was no military discount available for this item, despite the link on the blade’s page.
