I only have one comment, and it's minor but worth mentioning. Actually more an aesthetic / ergonomic improvement, but the material thicknesses don't allow for this. When I transferred the clip to the other side there is no countersink/chamfer to allow for a full seating of the screw head and creates a little hot spot/snag when handling. Other than that, great slide lock blade for the price.
Super cool and affordable knife. I already have plenty of knives from Spyderco, Demko, and Benchmade—definitely didn’t need another—but I came across this on GovX (which is awesome since they support first responders), and it caught my attention right away. The design, blade shape, ergonomics, and overall feel are excellent. The handle is comfortable and very grippy, which makes it feel secure in hand. I like it so much that I’d love to see a premium version in S35VN or Magnacut. This is my first experience with N690 steel, and so far it’s holding up well. For the price, I think this knife is a great deal. I’ve been carrying it all day at work. I work in a clinic, so I’m constantly opening boxes, cutting packaging, and sometimes working around IV bags and medical supplies. The wharncliffe blade shape gives you a lot of control, which helps avoid cutting anything you don’t want to. I trust it enough to carry for both of my jobs—at the clinic and on the ambulance—as well as for everyday carry. Highly recommend. Also, shipping was super fast. This must be a pretty new model because I couldn’t find anything on YouTube about it. The brand was new to me too—I hadn’t heard of them until I saw it on GovX.
Porcupine arrived and went right to pocket and right to work. It quickly sliced and cut multiple of life’s daily tasks. It fits nicely in hand, carries clean in pocket and works like a pro. The Wharnie blade is cool as a cucumber too. Superb sharp tool for a very nice price. Thank you.

Exactly what I have come to expect from Skallywag. Blade is lightweight, EXTREMELY sharp and the locking mechanism is smooth and tight as a drum head. The smaller pocket clip is a very nice addition. Blade sits deeper in your pocket so it is less visible. Yet comes out as fast as you need it to. Another home run!
