Introducing the Skeletor Knife from Skallywag Tactical, a masterfully crafted tool that combines functionality and style for the discerning knife enthusiast. The blade is made from 440C stainless steel, renowned for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and durability. This high-performance steel ensures that each cut is precise and reliable, making the Skeletor Knife ideal for both everyday carry and tactical situations. Complemented by a sleek Black PVD coating, the blade not only exhibits a striking appearance but also enhances protection against wear and tear, while reducing glare and reflection.
One of the standout features of the Skeletor Knife is its skeletonized handle, designed with both weight and conceal-ability in mind. This innovative design significantly reduces bulk without sacrificing grip, making it easier to carry discreetly. The lightweight structure ensures that the knife can be easily maneuvered, allowing for enhanced control during use. Additionally, the handle features a ring similar to that of a traditional karambit knife, providing users with a secure grip and the ability to perform various handling techniques. Whether you're using it for everyday tasks or in high-intensity situations, the Skeletor Knife delivers superior performance and versatility in a compact, ergonomic package.
The Skeletor Knife comes complete with a custom Black Kydex sheath, ensuring both protection and accessibility for your weapon of choice. Kydex is renowned for its durability and resilience, making it an ideal material for knife sheaths. It offers a secure fit that keeps the knife safely in place while allowing for quick and effortless draws when needed. Additionally, Kydex is weather-resistant, meaning it will not warp or become damaged in inclement conditions, providing reliability during outdoor adventures or tactical scenarios.
An added feature of the Kydex sheath is the Dots adjustable belt mount, allowing users to customize the carry position according to their preferences. This adaptability enhances comfort and accessibility, ensuring that the Skeletor Knife is always within reach when you need it most. Whether you’re wearing it on your hip or securing it to a pack, the combination of the lightweight Kydex material and the adjustable mounting system makes for a practical and efficient carry solution, perfectly aligning with the knife's overall design philosophy of utility and conceal-ability.
Prefect as a rugged, deep concealment, quick deployment blade! The 440C is impervious to sweat and takes a keen edge! This is a beast of a small knife!
Razor sharp out of the box. No matter if your using the ring with your index or pinky both feel comfortable. Just need a Ulticlip so I can pocket carry. Would buy again and would recommend 👌.
Excellent blade, well balanced and has a great feel in the hand. Comes with a Teklok clip, which I changed out for a different clip. Arrives very sharp out of the box. Would highly recommend.
Love this knife! Name fits me perfectly (I'm pretty skinny lol) it's good quality, good finish and very sharp. Sheath and belt clip work perfect and also look nice. My favorite knife for sure! Good job!
I've been looking for a straight blade, ringed, EDC knife for quite a while. Until I found this one, every other knife was either incredibly expensive or cheap Chinese junk. Also, the fact that that ring is raised instead of lining up with the back of the handle makes it much more ergonomic than many other knives of this type.
So far really love this knife. Came sharp as hell. It’s comfortable any way you handle it, in regular grip or reverse grip. Only thin I didn’t like was the bulky belt clip , easily removed added Discrete Cary concept clip works well for now. Still very new to me so I will be carrying it a lot more . I trade off between the MDV and this they’re both very good knives. Hard to choose between the both at times. Thank you everyone over at Skallywag for a bitch’in blade.
A lot better quality than I was expecting. The blade has proper weight to it. Heavier than expected. Does not feel cheap. Feels like it’s made from quality material. Over all perfect fit and the holster it came with is adjustable for any need. Definitely going to be my everyday carry knife. Not sure on performance yet and how well it will keep its edge. If I don’t make a follow up review, just assume nothing but the best in performance.
The grip is a little too long, and I wear a size xl in gloves. Placing the pinkie finger in the ring and the pointer in the groove designed for it is not comfortable, and the jimping on the ring for the thumb positions the knife oddly... it should be on the top of the ring, not the side, to give more grip in a stab move. The knife handling improves with gloves on.
Well made, fits comfortably in hand. Half the time I nearly forget I have it on me since it's flat and fairly light. Tested it on thick cardboard, performs wonderfully and retains its edge. Great value for the money
I bought the skeletor from you and I decided to go ahead and open up the finger ring like the mdv+1 ,and then smoothed out out the high points. Then I wrapped the grip with athletic tape and recoated the grip prior to wrapping it. I honed the edge and removed the cumbersome belt clip and added a flat clip. Basically I used the same format as the Mdv+1 and transposed it onto the skeletor. I wanted a back up for the +1 and the skeletor fit the bill quite nicely and I like stainless steel to boot.
This one was my version of the +1, and I am very pleased with the project.
Little disappointed when the box said made in China and not advertised as such on the web page. As a veteran buying from a veteran owned company this was a serious let down.
I do like the weight and feel of it. I haven't had a real change to put it through its paces, yet... But If Skallywag keeps its quality, I'm sure this will be a good addition to my D2 Daggers and MDV1's.
