Amazing knife. Razor sharp out the box, handle has just enough grip for my liking. Has since become my EDC knife! Might have to buy another to keep as a work knife and one as my EDC. It’s a pirates life for me!

From the packaging to the heft and feel of the blade I am very happy with it! This will be the knife I carry with me while I hunt in the Colorado wilderness. The blade is exceptionally thick and incredibly sharp. The handle feels sturdy and sure in the hand. I bought this as a blemish as I had been debating buying the knife full price. I’m glad I waited because there is no discernible blemish I can find and I got the blade for an awesome price! This is not my first Skallywag knife nor will it be the last!

A very nice folder. Sharp. Blem is almost non-existent.
It looks like a large knife but is much lighter that it look. The only improvement I could suggest is the the belt/pocket clip would be for a lefty or a righty

At our particular NOAA Field Office, we love the blemished products. It allows us to try various items from your inventory, mostly blades. We lose, give away or break more than you put on sale, ha !!

How is this blade a blem? I could not find a flaw at all. The Damascus pattern is amazing. And it's as sharp as can be.

Reading reviews, I was pretty confident they would still be nice. But was really surprised when I got them. I got 4, one for myself and 3 as gifts. I only found one with a blemish, so I kept it for myself. It still wasn’t very noticeable. I would recommend them, especially at the price point.

Man what a fun tool! I have yet to use it but just holding it in your hand is a satisfying experience. I can’t say I’m surprised because this is my 5th or 6th Skallywag blade but it keeps reinforcing my appreciation for the work these guys put out. Oh, and it’s worth mentioning that this was a blem item but the only issue is cosmetic: blade, spike, and handle are all exactly as you’d expect. Thanks guys!

Absolutely a beast. I’ve had other axes from other companies and this one dwarves them in size, quality and functionality. It goes great on kit or out in the yard tearing down trees. If you need it done, this will do it.
