Beautiful knife with better urganomics than most Benchmade's and the best quality for the price point.

Quality is amazing for the price. Once it was in my hand, I knew it was worth far more than what I paid. The action is smooth. I love the blade shape. It feels great in my hand.

Smooth opening Locks solid Sharp out of the box . So far only simple use opening boxes and the like but so far functioning perfectly

This is a great folder for the money! The only knives I know of with this locking system are considerably more expense.

I have quite an avid collection of Skallywag blades and this one, like the others is outstanding. Awesome components, very well made and sharp. Some of the best made blades out there. Huzzahhhhh

Very smooth and sharp fits good in pocket only thing I would change is it does have a nice rounded heel yet I would leave just a little bit of blade at heel unsharpened.

I took the bait on the Mako & an Orca, sold as 'hard use' knives. I am terribly hard on knives, a tool I use daily. I keep a polished razor edge on those that maintain one. My clunky old Buck 110 for example,retired when the pocket clipped jobbers came out. (I never liked belt sheaths,and hate a boat anchor in my back pocket.) I've a drawer full of them, expensive ones but fragile due tiny, intricate parts, and many off shore junk knives that aren't worth a pinch of s**t. The Mako is a solid,,very light, well made knife with a perfect feel in my hand. I love the locking mechanism, the pocket clip is as beefy as I've ever seen. Its orientation is as it should be,why flip a knife around to open it? It took little effort to get the factory edge properly sharp. I've used it at work & home on various things a knife isn't recommended for, a few whacks with the polishing rod It's razor sharp again. Now I'll carry my Orca for a few weeks,see how it goes. An excellent product at a great price. Thank you.

Best knife ever, for the price......

I bought 2 each (1 is none, 2 is 1) From top to bottom. Mini Orca Mako All shipped very quickly, razor sharp and nicely oiled. The mini, although I am not a fan of neck knives this little knife is on my motorcycle currently and can be deployed quickly in a pinch. The Orca is my work/ utility knife and is holding up nicely! The Mako is now my EDC and an absolute fantastic knife! All of these knives are great out of the box and reasonably priced, I am looking forward to my next purchase from Skallywag Tactical!

This is a beautiful and inexpensive knife. Locking mechanism feels good and I love the cut on the blade. Wish the clip were reversable.

I work as an industrial maintenance technician. I wanted something strong and sharp that I could use daily. So far it works great. I didn’t have a screwdriver and used it yesterday to open a panel door. It held up fine but did get some rolling/denting on the edge.

Great Knife You can feel the quality in this knife when you handle it. My new favorite EDC. Extremely sharp out of the box. Great price for a great knife!

Best knife under $ 60.00 Best $ 45.00 knife I have ever purchased, it is razor sharp. I bought one for a gift, I wish I would have ordered a couple more.
